The Bastards

A. Rogers While I don't follow the narrative of the "Family Tree" series as well as I would like, the discreet narratives in the lyrics of each song are at turns enchanting and heartbreaking. The self-overdubbing of vocals adds depth to Ben's quiet and expressive voice. The melodies on this album are often more upbeat and driving than I expected, providing layers of enjoyment throughout the album. Favorite track: We're On Our Way.

mattaustin95 Any fan of radical face needs this compilation in their collection, nightclothes is one of the few songs I've listened to that has genuinely made me weep. Favorite track: Nightclothes.
